we begin to study clinical this semester, that means we will see the clinical lecturers until the day we graduate.. actually there is one characteristic that is common among all f them, that is: they like so scare their students as if that is the way they entertain themselves.

i still remember the first lecture, it starts with lot and lots of question that we don’t know how to answer: which drug is suitable to treat the patient? if the patient have diabetes and cardiovascular problems, which drug is more suitable? why we choose this drug instead of that? how to choose a suitable drug? if the patient cannot take tablet, can we make it into a liquid form? if yes, which kind of liquid form is that? syrup? solution? suspension? if the doctor request for topical preparation, which one do we have to choose? ointment? cream? lotion? and how long can that preparation last?

to be honest, i think its better this way, at least we can prepare ourselves earlier. after we learn everything, its now time for us to apply our knowledge. now only i realized that pharmacist also play an important role in the health care team, which i don’t see it clearly when i learn the theory and now i started to love it. this is what i want myself to be, and also what i expect from this course, so happy..

we are being informed that we will be evaluated one by one, not only on our knowledge, but also our attitude, the way we talk and even the way we wear and walk. my buddy told me that one of her course mate fail a clinical session just because he sleep during the presentation session, so he need to take it again.  quite strict uhh.. hope that i can perform well in this course and learn everything that i am suppose to know in order to be a pharmacist.
